about

This is an experiment in story telling. These are stories written by Owen and I. Although somewhat fictional to us, they happen all too often. The first track focuses on a man who uses marriage not because he loves someone but because he is afraid that, if he doesn't marry soon, he will die a lonesome death. The second, A soldier that has seen to much death and doesn't know how to cope with normal life. The third, is an abusive relationship between two. While the last track gives you time to reflect and relax.

Track Name: Marry Me
Look at me.
Look at me.
I'm not my friend.
Confide in me.

I seem to fall in love
with everyone I meet.
If you say "hello" to me
I'll see you when I sleep.

Won’t you please?
Marry me.
I need this.
Stability.

I need a poetic way to explain
how terrified I am.
So I exploit my emotions
the only way I can.

I can’t loose your love

When I fall,
The years I called.
Did you Love me at all?
At least we went together.
At least we left this world together.
Track Name: It's Okay
Haze came across
in the early morning,
the salt in the air
of the beach they were storming.
Just men on a leash
of fear and loathing.

Won't you speak to me?
You haven't done anything.

Don't just watch me waste away.
I want to believe it's all okay.
Help me out, tell me what to say.

Daisies were blooming
on the dunes and
the sand in their hair,
marked bitter news.
A veil in the rain,
on a Sunday morning.

You can't speak to me.
You hadn't done anything.

Don't just watch me waste away.
I want to believe it's all okay.
Help me out, tell me what to say.

It's okay.
Track Name: The Eyes of the Storm
And at dusk the shadows grow.
Naked eyes don't see the fear.
Alone in his company.
A veil, a mask, is all that shows.
Beneath the sheets beneath the skin.
A heart lies beating weakly still.

The shell of an angel,
stands against the storm.
No emotions shown yet,
inside they swarm.

Hollow words, spoken slow.
Bruises hidden, damage done.
Days roll past, blood loss shown.
No regrets why don't you run?
No words.
No words!
An angel lost her wings.
The sound.
The sound.
Puppet won't you shed your strings.

With rage his hands are thrown.
And he can't see through the tears.
White knuckles break the quiet.
This is all he's known.

Once a man.
Now so much less.
How could you do this?
How could you do this?

Hollow words, spoken slow.
Bruises hidden, damage done.
Days roll past, blood loss shown.
No regrets why don't you run?
No words.
No words!
An angel lost her wings.
The sound.
The sound.
Puppet won't you shed your strings.
